This evening the Italy national team is playing against Malta, an important match, valid for the qualifications to the 2014 World Cup. During this match, Juventus and AC Milan’s player will become allies. In fact, the desire to gain a victory without problems has to overpass for 90 minutes historical rivalries and hard feelings.

Cesare Prandelli has almost defined the final squad that will play this evening: 5 Juventus players and 5 AC Milan players. Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Pirlo and Marchisio will be the Juventus player, while Balotelli, El Shaarawy, De Sciglio, Abate and Montolivo the AC Milan players.

The only doubt regards who to line up as midfielder between Giaccherini and Cerci. The first one made a good performance during the first half of the friendly match against Brazil, the second one an excellent second half.  If Cerci plays this evening, he will result as an “intruder”, because he plays in Torino.

As underlined the coach Cesare Prandelli, it is fundamental to gain the three points against Malta, because Italy has for now a good position in its round, but there are still several matches and everything could change. For this reason, the coach is asking a rest between AC Milan and Juventus, together with  excellent performances of all the players.
